964 rockers on a 1987 body????
How do you make the 964 rockers fit the 1987 body when the 87. This body doesn't have the indentations that the 964 have. I do not want to use fiberglass ones bonded. I want to be able to bolt them like if they belong there. Please help.

I think you want to take this question to the technical forum.
The general reaction around here will be: "Why the heck would you want to put 964 rockers on an '87?"

I saw your ad in the classifieds.
I would guess that with 240k+ miles, a broken ODO, and no history, you will have difficulty getting 18k for your car. But you can help your case by putting together a really thorough ad, with lots of pictures. Show the interior, and get a lot of pictures of the engine -- especially the underside. If your real desire is a 964, one man's opinion is that you are much better off getting the best money you can for the '87, and use that to offset the purchase. Anything you do cosmetically to change the appearance from original -- like the rockers -- is going to hurt the ultimate value of the car when you go to sell it. Good luck with your sale.
