What are you payhing for parts cars these days?
What do you suppose a fair offer on your typical mid year basket case would be?. Assume the car is very rusty, complete car, but not run in more than 10 years Assume motor is locked up . Exposed to the elements for many year in the northeast. . Some body damage , brakes locked up etc.
I used to think I had a good grasp on the market, but things are going nuts.

If it is complete then it is worth $3k-$5k~ depending on model etc. coupe/targa? S? etc~
Sounds like a parts car so look at it that way, although if it is a coupe someone may strip, patch up the rusty spots it and make a racecar out of it~

It's the one that you've posted about before, right? The mid-year car with a roof that caved in on it, etc.? $2k tops, IMO. Try to get it for less.
