Value of a Mid-Year?

OK, so let's say that a person is looking at a later, mid-year targa... What do you guys think would be a reasonable price to pay for such a car based on the following:

1. Solid body with a small amount of rust in the pan.
2. Presumed original paint (but not documented) in need of a refresh (lightly faded and flaking paint in places).
3. Original motor needs a refresh (oil leaks, etc) but has had SOME work done to it (undocumented).
4. A couple of crunchy synchros.
5. Some (but not extensive) suspension work in the past 10 years.
6. New clutch in the past 10 years.
7. Needs to have the Targa top refinished.
8. The interior has had some work (not to original specs) done to it in the past but needs to be refreshed as well.
9. Uncracked dash.
10. Solid electricals.
11. Attractive color combination.
12. 100K plus miles.

Given what REALLY nice middies have been bringing recently, what do you think the realistic market value is for such a machine given the info above?

Thx!

I wouldn't pay more than $10-12k on a car like that. But I bet asking is closer to $15k.

For example. I paid 17 for my 76 last summer. Fresh 2.7 to RS spec (sans MFI) with Weber 40s,
fresh paint and interior.

I definitely trust your opinion. Especially since it is in line with what I was thinking.

Just thought it would be interesting to hear other opinions to see if anyone can make a case for a different range of value.

I would say $12-15,000 at a minimum for the current market.

My '77 Targa is Sienna Red with black leather sport seats. Paint is average, NO rust, interior is nice 8/10 for its age. Engine needs a refresh.

I wouldn't take less than $20,000 as is.
