Thinking of selling original engine to my 76

3 years ago I bought an 86 3.2 engine. I got it cleaned up, fixed all the many leaks, and got it running beautifully. Then I bought a 76 coupe to put it in. The 76 came with its original engine, but at the last rebuild, a new unnumbered case was used. So, I am thinking about selling the 2.7 engine, because the 3.2 runs so well and feels "right" in the car. I am not going to sell this car anytime soon, because it is a lot of fun. When I get too old to drive it, I may give it to a relative or grandchild. I probably will not care what its worth at that time
So- is it a good idea to hold on to this engine or not?

If it unnumbered engine that means it not the original engine.It up to you.
