Fuchs value question: RSR 15 X 11
A friend has asked me to sell some wheels.
I can put them up on eBay for a definitive answer, but want to set a reserve that makes sense. These are real from-the-factory 15 X 11s. The barrels have been polished, and the wheels clearly used (raced, I suspect) but the wheels haven't been chromed, powder painted or otherwise had their integrity challenged. Date stamps are X/72, so really can't be anything other than RSR. I'm thinking they are worth over $4K each. But it's not as if they are trading anywhere... Hoping for input from anyone with direct market knowledge... ![]()

It has been 4 years since I sold a set. That said, they were sold for $3k per wheel.

Sounds right, Matt. My guess was $4 - 4.5K/wheel

Will those fit on my mid-year?
![]() The questions would be dependably hilarious if you post them for sale on parts board.

These days prices on cars and " historically significant" parts are absurd, it's a frenzy as the bubble expands at an increased pace.
I would ask $10k per wheel and see what happens.

im not so sure, these come up for sale one or 2x per year. I recall a repaired set for "cheap" recently and normal sets of 9s and 11s for around 10-12k.
Search the classsifeds

I just put them up on Samba for $10K, I'm sure I'll find out soon enough.
The ones I found by searching the classifieds were "weld-up" 11s. I think the genuine article is pretty rare. I do have a pair of 9s from the same source, but their date stamping is 18 months later, so G-model RSR.

11 inch wheels
Any idea where to find tires to fit those wheels? I am looking at a RSR clone with a set of original 9X15 and 11X15 Fuchs. I have been searching for tires, and can't find any.
