Scam or a singer for $57,000

Granted the reserve isn't off yet, but the pictures are definitely of a Singer vehicle. In the case where it is a Singer, why wouldn't the seller list it as such?

It looks more like a replica of a Singer Porsche, as the engine bay and trunk interior are much nicer on a real one, but I may be wrong.

The way I see it, it could be one of the following:

1. It is indeed a scam
2. If it is real, the "owner":
a. Doesn't know how much it really is worth
b. Needs the money fast for whatever reason
c. Can't afford such a wonderful car
d. a,b, and c.

I don't think you are wrong. I failed to look at the engine bay and interior pics. I only saw the exterior pics. Definitely tricked my eyes.

Singerish…

Pictures look like a legit 964 singerization, but not a singer.

Seats, engine, dash, frunk. To name a few.

Great budget build that looks a lot like a singer. Me like

Wondering what the reserve is

Close at a glance but no singer. Small details everywhere.

The initial give away for me was the oversized wheels. I may be wrong but they look bigger than 17s

On Singer's web site they show where every car has gone I think.
Here is a Singer for comparison. Notice the wheels and a different profile flare.

Here is the Singer http://singervehicledesign.com/gallery/the-machines/france/#prettyPhoto[gallery]/5/

Obviously it's not a Singer, but it is a nice car influenced by a Singer.

I wouldn't hesitate to drive it.

The rockers and flares are too bulky...doesn't look right. Thick at the wheel arches.

Its also a auction and the reserve isn't met yet so it's not for 57k.

Singer starts with a 964 right? This ebay car is a '73 right?

cool build... probably the most interesting below-singer-budget backdate one can create out of a C4.

i'd drive it!

I think this is the same builder that did one last year almost the same except in orange. Specs look similar including leaving it 4wd. Also recognize the background in the pictures as well.
