Porsche 964 C2+G50 manual conversion - Value?

Hi,

I have a euro 91 Porsche 964, non-sunroof, fresh suspension (KW V3s, Rennline top mounts and camber plates, poly a-arm bushings) with a G50.03 conversion (from tiptronic) and new RS clutch/flywheel, RS shifter and bushing. Mechanically the car is great at just over 100k miles. It could use a re-spray along with some odds and ends). I'm debating swapping for another 964 project or continuing on with this.

What do you think this is worth, or the asking price? I figure the US market is out of question due to the 25 year rule, or perhaps it could be grey market.

Fireface, we need some more info. However if I were looking I would happily consider a 964 thats had the tip box swapped for a G50 manual. Obviously I think you would have to detail the conversion, but if anything I think a manual adds value provided it was done right. Pics and more details but my WAG is maybe 18k as it stands.

Nick - Too sporty for you?

Matt - I'm north of the border.

msort81 - Yeah, the funny thing is it drives way better than any $25K lump 964 I've test driven even though it's not "original." Many have agreed.

Perhaps I should continue on making it my dream car regardless of re-sale value.

I think that's the answer. The current market has blinded many people making them see dollar signs. You are this far in. The car is already not original. Make it yours. Make it what you want and drive it. And don't look back.

This is the right answer. Because of the modifications, you are well into it for more than what you might get back. Might as well enjoy it.
