One more explanation to the soarimg prices......

One of my colleagues told me that there is a new thing amongst the young wealthy hipsters.

You have to own a 911 from the year you were born - The idea should be spreading like a forest fire here in Europe.

Well I own a 912 from 1976 so that obviously does not count. Lucky for me. I don't want to be a hipster.

I petty the guys who were born in 1965 though.

Model year or build date?
Build date would seem more appropriate. More hipper!

Damn hipsters have practically taken over Ft Collins. Every time I drive up there I near run over some idiot on a fixie who barely knows how to ride one.

I had a 911 from the year of my birth. Now everything I've got is older or younger.

Speaking of fixies, does that mean a hipster 911 would have a tiny steering wheel, a one-speed transmission, and no brakes?

I hope they will do something to make it extra hip.
Then I will NOT do that thing and hopefully stay unmistakeably un-hip.

They only buy Sportos. And targas, which they never install. And steel wheels, no Fuchs.

I think you've confused trustifarians with hipsters.

Mine's an '84, and I was born in '85. Guess that makes me more hip because it's retro...

Damn, I'd have to get a swoopy-mirror 964 to be as hip as Christian.

I don't think it's possible to be as hip as Christian, regardless of the car model you buy. After all, he's as hip as this -
