FS: 1969 911s Targa Burgandy/Tan
Looking for a targa to use as summer driver in uk, I already have a 1973 BMW 2002 Targa which I really enjoy using when dry. Never had a 911 before, saw this car (also on ebay) , just wondered what effect the "blank engine case" replacement has on values. Also not sure on how title issues would effect export to uk. Probably outside of my budget at asking price but may be over valued, or would I be better off with a genuine CIS 1973 targa for less money?
When I find a car my intention is to make into drivable and tidy but not concours. I've had a fhc etype since 1998, each year make a bit more useable but this year in for a full body restore and repaint. No big rush, will values soften over winter?
