1974-89 911/912E Decklid $2750!! WTH!!??

Every so often I browse Craigslist for misc Porsche parts. I'm sure a lot of us do that too. However, I noticed that this one seller has recently reposted an ad a few times selling a decklid from a 1976 912E for $2750/obo!! That's right $2750!! Crazy!! He says that he's pricing it at the amount he has seen others asking. What!!?? I think he needs to do some more research and find out what it's really worth. I think he's confusing this decklid with the early 911S ones. No wonder why he says in his ad that someone keeps flagging it though......it's a ridulous ad! Check it out:

LINK: PORSCHE ALUMINUM DECKLID 911 912 912E

PORSCHE ALUMINUM DECKLID 911 912 912E - $2750 (san bruno)

Porsche 911/912 Aluminum/Alloy Rear Decklid. I can only go off what vehicle it came off of and that it should fit '74 to '89 911/912 body styles. Whether it fits other years (most likely) you need to determine.
I'm having trouble trying to post this ad. I don't know if someone is flagging it, or Craigslist software deems it as advertising, or because I had an eBay link before.
There is some creasing near the bottom edge where somebody tried to pry up on the lid while it was on the car.
I don't want to risk damage by stripping this, but if I do decide to remove some paint to show that it's aluminum, I will post more pictures or update.
If you're looking at this, you probably know they don't come up that often, and in doing some research, right now it appears to be the only one I can find on eBay, Craigslist, Pelican Parts, or most older Porsche sites.
So I'm pricing it at what I have seen others ask (don't know if they've got that price) and not in a big hurry to sell. I have had this for 7+ years, if I can't get what I think its worth, I'll have it redone and hang it on the wall as art.
$2,750/B.O.
I have this on eBay also, with a Best Offer option.
Email me with your name, email, and or phone # and I will get back to you with a better description.
Serious inquiries please.
Thanks for looking.

Obviously this is a lid for early 70-On Longhood Esses and some Es. Not 74-On and not 76E.

New reproduction early alum lids are 1.5k.

I've seen NOS early alum lids go for 4k.

If it's an original piece then 2k seems reasonable for the condition I see. Pretty rare part if factory.
