There were some nice original 14" fuchs in the classified for I think $850 that seemed to be for sale forever. I don't know if they ever sold. There are a ton of them sitting around. Far more than you could imagine. I know of a few bare metal sets that were scrapped recently because nobody would buy them. Original anodizing and paint is a big plus. Hub caps are a $100/set plus.
I bought these Fuchs for $200/set from a brick and mortar Porsche parts retailer in CO a year ago. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1409617197.jpg |
I wouldn't pay more than $100/wheel for 912e wheels.

Agreed, $400/500 for a set. Not Very popular and tons out there.

What about a set of 1970 911E 14x5.5 or does it not matter?

I dont see the 1000.plus price. The 850.set is still available and I thought about those for my 356c. I found nice sets for 400.shipped and even passed on those. Decided my car deserves a 15 inch set. Glws
