Price for a 3.2 SS and a 915 tranny?

I have a 3.2 SS converted from a '78 3.0 that was rebuilt with 5000+ miles on it. I had Tom Amon tested it in a car last year and both the engine and 915 ran perfectly. I've been looking for a roller to put it in (long hood), but have not had success doing so. Just want to get an idea of what its worth if I should decide to sell it.
Here's a list of what went into it:

Original CIS
Original heat exchangers and exhaust (I do have a brand new set of SSI that can go with the engine as a package)
DRC 964 cam
Supertec 98mm 9.5:1 piston and cylinder set
Supertec Head studs
Supertec dist rebuild and new wire
Brand new engine wire harness
New injectors
New timing chains
tensioner sprockets and cam gears
Heads overhauled
New valve springs
exhaust valves, seats, reface and beveled head
Oil pump clearance and rebuilt

Thanks in advance.
P

Since no one has replied, I'll take a stab at it. I'm no expert, but I do scan used parts prices so I have an idea.

To maximize your selling prices, I'd suggest selling everything (engine, 915, SSI's) separate. A bundle usually favors the buyer, but it can be a method to quickly move several items if you need a quick sale.

For the engine paperwork is critical unless you have personal knowledge of the engine work. With documentation, I'd say the complete engine engine should fetch $5k - $6k or so. With no documentation $4k +/- or so.

A good, used aluminum case 915 $1k - $1.5k. I see these only going up in value in the future, they have been very undervalued on the used market. Add $500.00 for a late 915 with the stronger bits. Add $1k for a cooler equipped late euro 915.

SSI's in the box, wow, nice to have these and I'd say $1.5k +/-, but since you can't buy the originals anymore, who knows?

I have a set I bought from John just after the sale to Dansk (I would not sell mine for $2k). I'm saving mine for a SS rebuild of my 3.0. I'm going to the earlier thin flange (thick flange on now) with a set of early 3.0 heads. I recall John saying that the last several years of production the quality was the absolute best. He said they used an even better grade of stainless that will not corrode. It's sad that the shop could not have been taken over in the U.S. and production kept here. He was very proud of them and rightly so!

I recently acquired a similar engine for $5.5k. If those are pre-Dansk SSIs they are pure gold.

Gearbox is $1000-1500. Pull the sidecover (about a dozen bolts and 15 minutes) and photograph the condition of the ring and pinion. Will make it way easier to sell. Otherwise it is an unknown. But if people can see the wear and the print they know they are getting a good core. Also tells you if someone upgraded the differential along the way, which can add $500-1500 to the selling price.

Sell flywheel, clutch and pressure plate as part of the engine. I included it in my engine pricing.

How does one know if the SSIs are pre-Dansk? I've had them for quite a years now. When was the take-over?

Ok. They are definitely pre-Dansk then. What are they worth?

I'm curious, too. I have a set of thick-flange pre-Dansk SSIs that I've been holding for a couple of years now. Really, I'm waiting on a muffler, LOL.

But it would be nice to know what folks are paying for the real deal.
