If that was a '72 I would say it looks like a job for Super Techweenie.

I don't need another '73.5 that badly, although the interior shot shows some really sweet speakers that were surely mounted in the rear and flew forward in the accident.
Maybe they still work, that would drive up the price.

I am so out of my mind I have half-a-mind to buy this thing, get the rat-wiring done, and run this up to Monterey come August. I'd even leave the duct tape. And the center LCD display. This is one disco sled that would bring bitter hatred even from the Ferrari crowd. To pull this abomination into the lot would be priceless. $9k is a bargain that would incite more loathing than a Jaguar D-type replica. It would be talked about for years. It would get more stares than Lauren's latest acquisition. Gas it and go.

Scary thing is once I got past the revulsion part it's not too far off the mark at that price. After a covered trailer delivery in the dead of night, a week in the shop behind closed doors and all the ugly and embarrassment would be gone.
Just saw a 7R crankcase sell for $1200.

Anyone else vote to keep it as it stands? It is a one-of-a-kind and representative of the 80s excess.

Funny, I'd be tempted, but I am storage space-challenged. I've seen only one other 'white out' interior and that was a car the PO had color changed inside by using latex paint (likely Navajo White in the other case).

I DID buy a car that was whited-out back in the day (every exterior part, including gaskets). But it was a 928 convertible conversion and it wasn't like I could wait for a 'better' one...

That would be like deciding to hold on to a venereal disease for posterity sake
