That car is dead meat - not worth saving/restoring.

Milesaway 12-20-2014 10:15 AM

Unbelievable

mreid 12-20-2014 10:19 AM

You think?!

Run, Forest, run! (And I don't mean the car, it's a FORD - Found Off Road Dead)

Jrboulder 12-20-2014 10:19 AM

That car is BHCC quality.

The Geologist 12-20-2014 10:27 AM

It has a cool VIN# going for it, which is nice.

flskala 12-20-2014 10:46 AM

I showed the ad to my wife and she actually laughed out loud... she then said, if that's a 25k car - yours is worth roughly 250k. I give the guy credit for leaving it as is in the photos and not soaping all the grime off.

Kinda like the 125,000 dollar 930's that get bumped to the top 20 times.

Is there a 930 that isn't for sale?

Matt Monson 12-20-2014 12:20 PM

Looks like he is reaching around to me.

Christian, if you want a reacharound during the act, just ask for it (no need to be shy, bro)!

PS - have you taken delivery of Chewbacca yet?

:)

The cost to bring it up to snuff will be truly stunning.

I suspect the OP just typed an extra zero. At least that's my hope.

I was thinking that car is crazy overpriced and was wondering if I was missing something. He said in the add probably worth more than $25k but needs quick sale.

Racerbvd 12-21-2014 11:51 AM

Wow, my 74 would be a deal at $5K

Everybody? How so?

matt930s 12-21-2014 01:46 PM

I've met the seller (Dan), he seemed like a pretty good guy. He was buying a new house and selling a bunch of his 911 toys... I'm sure a PM to him with a reasonable offer wouldn't be dismissed.

Maybe reaching for another beer?

porschenut66 12-21-2014 03:30 PM

Yes, I priced the car a bit high, but with the market going nuts ya never know. It's not that rusty other than the front pan...floors and longs are nice. I'm accepting offers that are reasonable.

porschenut66 12-21-2014 03:54 PM

Thanks Matt, I appreciate that. I am a fair guy and with the car possibly being a Euro with a Euro engine, it might not have been that much of a stretch. It is what it is...make offers.

So this is the only advertised Porsche here pushing market values? I think I need to reach for a drink :)
