3.2 G50 Carrera Engine Mods

What do you think the future value impact will be to a non-stock rebuild of a 3.2 engine in a G50 coupe? Not pretending to be a 'collector", but now that prices have gone ballistic I don't want to hurt future resale value.

Am thinking of twin plug/3.4L P&Cs with inc. compression/ 964 cams.

Hot rodding the engine and other tasteful mods. can sometimes make a better "driver" 911 and there will always be a demand for driver level 911's but the high market prices are not being set by driver level cars.
More than likely you will not see a return on your money hot rodding the engine.
The trick is to decided if your car is a hobby or investment. If it is both, It might be worth it to you to spend a couple of $ for the fun factor? Just go in realizing you will not see that money again.
People by looks not mechanicals.
