Fuchs 8 and 9 x 15

Hi,

I have a pair of 8 x 15 and a pair of 9 x 15 Fuchs wheels with 1976 date codes in good driver condition. Does anyone know what a fair market value might be?

Thanks!

For the 8's $700-1000/pair, the 9's $3-4K

If they are 911 8"s they are worth a tiny bit more than the nines. $1500 each pair if perfect. You can buy new for a little more but some will pay for the date stamp.

If you can find set's of factory 9 x 15 fuchs for $1500/pair I will purchase every set you can find. Last set I owned I sold for $3000k and that was 5 years ago before prices got nutty, these are very race wheels. 8 x15's are everywhere and much less expensive.

those are special wheels.... I would venture Phil is even a little light in his estimate..... what car would have they come on in 1976, a euro carrera possibly?

Sorry yes you are correct. I was thinking of 16's.

Thank y'all very much for your responses, that gives me a very good idea. I'll use them for a while and then put them up for sale when I convert my car back to stock trim.

Finding tires that fit was kind of a bear, I wound up with DOT approved autocross/track tires with just a little bit of tread. I think if you do the vintage racing then then you have to go ahead and either get a full race tire or vintage Michelins or Avons.

The 15X9s sitting on the rear of my car now, I picked up last year for $3500 and they needed to be refinished.
$4000 for a set in good condition is what I see them going for when I run across them.
