Fraudulent eBay Listing

Do not bid on this car. These pix were taken in my driveway last Fall. The car was sold and resides in a good guy's garage. Communicated with him earlier and the car is still in his possession and not for sale.

Reported it to eBay and hope they bust him. What a piece of *****

Emailed the fraudster earlier and got this reply:

Hello,

The car is located in Florida. Where are you located? I don't want to waste your time and you should know that my final price $19.500. I will complete the transaction only through eBay. I can arrange shipping in this amount. Please let me know.

Thank you,
Paul Schlacter

Thanks to all who have contacted flea bay regarding this POS loser. And even more thanks to those who have contributed with BS bids to give this POS hope that he might actually be scamming someone. Maybe the bidding will hit $100k? Hahahaha

I pulled out the game of LIFE and found a couple 100,000 bills so I am gonna bid 125,000 now and save the rest for a mutual fund.

This is awesome, but I will not bid again until I get these questions answered:

"I have been looking for a white over red SC for my German friend who is a collector.

The car looks pristine, and I know that it is very rare!

Does it have the chain tensioner and transponder upgrade? Do you have the original books for it?

ABS-brakes?

How do people respond to a man driving a white car with red interior (my friend is a bit insecure) sorry.....

Thank you"

Well Christian you may be out of luck. I just offered him 125000 cash to end the auction early. I told him that 83 being the last year for the SC and this color combo it is appreciating in value daily. Further assured him that his car is going into my private collection and will not be reoffered for sale being the rare specimen that it is.

Being that this particular car truly is "unobtanium" I think its final selling price will without question set a new standard and perhaps record for the 911 SC's. These cars have been largely under valued until of recent and the buyers certainly have shown a piqued interest in these venerable 3.0 liter cars as evidenced by the spirited and heated bidding on the one. With three days to go in the bidding it probably is just getting warmed up. Who ever claims the air cooled Porsche market is cooling off clearly isn't paying attention to the volcanic like heat this iconic SC has generated in the marketplace. :-)

And with those comments above I was just out bid. OK it is on now ...going all in may have to raid my 75K mutual fund reserve.

Maybe the fraudster is shell bidding - it would be so cool if he won it himself and realized that he missed around 125K, not because of fraud, but because of greed

Well two people have told him he has a rare car so maybe the greed is growing in conjunction with the woody he got when he saw the auction this am.

I think Christian will go to $350K if it has the original manual.

I looked at a white Carrera with red interior and my wife's response was: it looks like a vagina.

True story.
