15x8 15x7 Fuchs .. whats a fair price to pay ?

What is a reasonable price to expect to pay for a "nice" set of 15 x 7 and 15 x 8 Fuchs in Original ex factory order .... a friend just bought a 76 911 Turbo and I'm just trying to help him get it back to original..

Depends. If you want a date-matching set for the car be prepared to pay a lot more than an identical 1980s set from a 944.

$1000-1500 also depends on the condition and finish but date matched for a 76 Turbo could cost you more

They fit 944's but they also fit 911 SC's and there's no way to tell which car they came from if they are separated from the car.

You can still buy 15x8's and 15x7's new from Porsche Classic but they are very expensive. Finding an original mint, '76 date-matched set would very diffficult and expensive but finding a nice '80's unmolested set would be much easier -perhaps $1500 to $2000. Without removing the wheels and seeing the markings on the reverse, the '70's and '80's versions are nearly identical and no one would know the difference when they are on the car.

There are a few different part #'s for 7 x 15 and 8 x 15, the early ones that were used on 911 RS's are very expensive - I would assume the correct date stamp wheels for a 76 930 would be fairly expensive as well. The later date stamp wheels run $1200 to 2000 at set depending on condition.

I settled for 80's 944 wheels for my 76 930.

I read a fair bit about them. They are basically the same, all but the date stamp.

Keep in mind, many "76" 930's where built in 75. Don't fork out big bucks for anything that was stamped after the car was built.
