Pretty much. If anyone is reading this in seriousness, be warned that the parts are in Sheridan.

Yeah, we know that you are Johnny boy's shill since he can't post here himself under his latest username for fear of getting banned yet again. The part you missed, as he did, is that gearboxes use a ring and pinion, not an opinion. Mr Small told me some time ago that he was going to put me out of business, because he's a big baller in P-Car circles. Here's a sample of his commentary that he sends me via PM. I expect more in response to this thread:

I know ... I've been there . I also tried to buy his cars. His most recent number for the whole collection is 5.7 million. He wasn't rude to me at all. Plus his girlfriend is super hot !!! The longer he keeps them the more money he makes. More power to him.
That being said he has an excellent collection . I would happily pay him one tenth that much. But they are his cars to do as he pleases . |

Brian,
Then consider yourself lucky if you've never seen his Jekyll and Hyde act. A couple years had gone by since I last dealt with him in person. However I was pretty vocal here anytime someone was talking about buying one of his cars, wanting people to know what they were in for. One day, at a local shop "retirement sale" he walks up to me and starts threatening me. Starts yelling for all to hear about how I'm not such a big man when I'm not behind my computer and pushes me trying to start something. He's a real piece of work. Is this thread slightly juvenile? Totally. But nowhere near as childish as trying to start a fight because I called some of his cars turds or the kind of stuff I posted above. He really thinks he's a P-car Don. He's deluded. I've been shown some real collections. I provide parts to people like Sienfeld, Walker,Ingram, Canepa, Ruf and Singer. John's "collection" is nothing special. |

Oh, don't get me wrong . He has turds. He has about 50 of them. I didn't see a single finished or restored car. Many 911 turds. The most 911 turds anywhere. The problem is he wants FULL RETAIL. I would love to own a few of his turds, but I won't pay 40000 for a 71t that's not even a driver. But somebody will. He should move them to So-Cal and they would sell the hole stack in 3 weeks.

Ring him up. I found out about the CL listing because someone called me. He has been trying for a couple of weeks to buy the parts without success. The parts are advertised in Denver. When you call, you will speak to his brother in Ft. Collins. His brother will try to arrange a "showing" for you. First he will tell you that they are at Evans and University in Denver, as shown on the CL ad. Then you will be told that they are in Ft Collins. Then you will be told that they are actually in Sheridan if you would like to drive up and see them. Or maybe, if you want to wait a couple of weeks, he will drive them down to Colorado for you to see them. I reiterate. Just like his cars, he doesn't actually sell anything. ps. He's selling used transmission parts that I manufactured. I got paid on them already. ![]()

I've heard quite the story from a couple dudes from California that went out there with a list of 10-12 cars and an agreed upon cash price (by John himself) - Ended up with none of the cars on the list.
... Unfortunately they did a deal on another group of cars. This was over a year ago, still no titles (not that it matters for a handful of the cars - their condition dictates that they'll never see the road again) Also - voicemails go unanswered, etc. I've heard he's got a few good cars. From what I hear they'll never leave his posession.. Agree on a price, and it goes up. Hoarder behavior. Ring and opinion, though - That's good! |

It's pretty obvious to anyone reading this thread that I posted it to mock Buffalo Bill. He's a buffoon. He thinks a CL ad can target my business. That in and of itself is laughable. So sure, you are free to respond, even if it takes a week. But quit playing like you are an idiot just to make trouble. Or are you really that stupid and believe this rubbish about there being some rivalry?
