Help on Parts Values
 

I will be parting my '85 Targa after being totaled by drunk driver. Opinions on values of the following appreciated.

3.2 motor - ran great, high idle, occasional puff on start. about 35K on engine rebuild
transimission - some synchro issues downshifting (especially to first)
Targa Top - extremely nice, refurb by Targa Dan less than 2 years ago, always on, never folded
Original Fuchs with 90% new tires (Definity V rated from Pep Boys) - never refinished, dull looking.
Front Seats - New leather recover last year (black)
Trailing arms (right for sure good, left impact side and uncertain)
Front and rear glass (front with antennae, rear with defrost)

What are other significant items to photograph and list?

Front of car if fenders, hood etc. are still good- that sucks, sorry to hear.

Yes, Input on front appreciated as well. Some small scratches/dents. (Nickel sized dent in hood from closing on battery charger, scratch in passenger fender from sons razor scooter, 4" dent in drivers fender from electric gate closing). Doors also good except outer weatherstrip at windows. It was a daily driver. Sorry, not the best pictures yet.

Doesn't look like a total to me.

It is a little worse than it appears. The car was parked in front of house and the impact to the left rear quarter put enough lateral force to put the car over the curb and on to the sidewalk. This torque put enough strain on the front torsion bar to tear the drivers side bracket off of the undercarriage. This too could be welded but the whole project is more than I can take on at the moment (we are about to take on the task of a house build).

Anyone have honest opinion of values of the parts above? The input would be appreciated either on the thread or PM. Thanks.

that car as it sits would pull 10k at salvage auction
