Young whippersnappers need not apply

Porsche 928 | eBay

Quote:
First owner 60 year old lawyer, Second owner 70 year old Porsche Mechanic that serviced the car for 1st owner. His stepson sold it to me, and I am 55 years old. This is how a car looks and drives when the owners are "money is no problem", and car has never been to some shady tree Mechanic...Please if you are under 50 years old, don't bid on this car. I really would rather someone who has the money and respect to get it.
My 50s are still many years away - guess this means my 928 has not been respected or properly maintained . As such please disregard all my project threads in the 928 forum - the work was obviously worthless.

Love how he says it is all original except for RMB. Let's see...at a glance in his crappy photos, I can also find a new head unit, hilarious Porsche crest stickers on the fenders, aftermarket belt tensioner. Wonder what else is lurking.

I never knew before that these cars explode when not driven. When is the NTSB going to do something about this?!

Wow, I did not realize anyone under 50 did not have respect or money...

I would rather someone buy it who has taste and remove the crests as their first act of ownership.

What if someone is really old, like 100 years old, but doesn't have a buck in his pocket, can he bid on the car?

Personally, I've always wondered exactly what a 'whippersnapper' was?
This, along with whether there ever was a barrel with crackers in it?

As it is, I qualify to bid, but I ain't buying what he's selling.

Just plain stupid. I bought my first 930 at 24 while serving in the military.
The ER doc that sold her to me never blinked an eye.

Yeah, I hear you Matt930s. I had my first targa at 17... Six other Porsches since... Sounds like a grump that hates his children/grandchildren or something.

Carpet dirty, shift knob worn and faded, rims oxidized, console cover sun bleached...yet perfect in every way? Elderwood has been sniffing too much of that Spanish moss or swallowing too much Spanish fly.. to uphold his user ID.

What's with the Battery Tender clipped to the two wires? They come with quick disconnects, so this does not looks very safe.
