Help on valuation - 2005 997
A close friend is looking to sell his 997. Below are the specs.
2005 997 Carrera S 30k 6speed Guards Red (?) Chrono Pkg Sport Seats Car is showroom perfect. I am thinking 40-42k. Please weigh in with other thoughts as I know nothing about "modern" 911s. __________________

I think you are in the correct range on with your valuation.
I sold my seal gray 2005 997S that had 28,000 miles, six speed, sport chrono in near mint condition about six months ago for $42,000. |

Seems like a reasonable asking price, but there are cars for a few thousand less with mileage that is pretty close. It really depends on buyer timing and willingness to travel.
