What am I missing here?
I'd like to think this car and the price make sense as its a glorious example, but is it really almost $400k glorious?
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/861797-1974-euro-carrera-2-7-mfi.html Or this one, $150!?, not even close ... am I wrong? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/864310-1977-porsche-930-a.html |
Wow what a badass car! Makes me wonder what my 75 U.S. carrera would be worth if I put a 75 motor back in it and changed it all back to stock? It would be a huge under taking but might be worth it for a $100k+ car.

Owner of the 77 posted up here asking about value. Heres the thread. No one gave a price, but suggestions on how to get a higher price. 150k will be a reach since that's reserved for 100% stock 930s that are well maintained...

The wheels are awful (funny comment in the ad), the car has been hit (shown clearly), and the "patina" shows through the photos which means its that much less appealing in person. Nothing against the car or seller as it's a very honest ad, but the price is just way beyond optimistic....IMHO. |

Yep, mint original or restored cars are $200k+

That 930 needs some wheels and stock seats and it would change the whole look of the car. There is a big difference between nicely work stock $150K car and one that has been played with.
Seller should work with consigner to get car correct for sale for optimum return. |
