84 Carrera value; roller vs complete

I have an 84 sunroof coupe green 911 that I've been driving/working on for a few years. It's been reliable and handles great, but I need to sell it (replacing it with an 88 targa). The 84 has about 222K miles (speedo has been replaced, so odometer incorrectly reads a lower mileage).
New parts installed (all OEM, not the cheap stuff) include turbo tie rods, new master cylinder, 3 of the brake calipers rebuilt, brake fluid flushed, new turn signal switch, rear Bilstein sport shocks, Elephant Racing bushings for rear suspension (with the zerk fittings), headliner (bought from Pelican) installed professionally, axles/bolts, carpet kit from Sierra Madre, battery, tires, sunroof rubber clutch (from Pelican), electric window switches, several fuel injection sensors (speed, reference, and Oxygen), and more that I've forgotten.
Used parts installed include the fuel tank, fuel tank sender, an excellent steering box, partial leather electric seats (supposed to be from late 80's turbo 911), dash was removed and recovered professionally, central AC dash vent, clock, fan in engine compartment for heater.
3 years ago, the windows were removed and 2 small rust sites were repaired that involved the window seal areas of the rear window and passenger quarter window. An average paint job was done to match (color was not changed).
After reading this forum, I realized that I needed to check for broken head studs. I found a BROKEN HEAD STUD on driver's side, middle cylinder. Discouraging!
I'm debating selling it as a roller (remove eng/tranny/oil system to install later in my 76 912; I trust the engine and could repair it, just no time right now); the roller would be a lot better than what I've seen on the market (wouldn't need anything except replace the removed items and would include wheels/tires); or sell complete car with knowledge that it needs a top end job (engine runs great, and very good oil pressure so shouldn't need complete rebuild). What do you think the value would be either way?http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1431556956.jpg

You would be killing the value of 2 collectible cars. And the price reduction on the Carrera would likely be more than what buying a used engine will run you.

Thanks for good advice. If I sell car as is, running good but broken head stud, how much do you think it might be worth?

I'd guess that a higher mileage 3.2 coupe in an uncommon color is a low 30's car in today's market, if the engine were sound. With a bad head stud, maybe mid to upper 20's?

Yup. I think that's exactly right.
