Where to price and market a modified 914-6?

I've decided that I'm going to sell my '71 914-6. It's an original -6. Original as in it started life as a -6 but has wandered a bit from its starting point. It's currently running a 3.0 and 915 box from an '82 SC, 7&8" Fuchs under widened (not GT flared) rear fenders. Front suspension is 3.5" Koni struts and "S" calipers. Rear brakes are stock. I have the original engine (long block) and 901 box. Also have most all of the original parts not currently installed like 14" Fuchs, steering wheel, rear valance, gauges, etc.

I bought it in 2006 with front end damage from a family member in California. It was a CA car up until that point so truly no rust. I had the body damage repaired which required replacement of the LF fender and front trunk lid. Body was taken to bare metal. The rear fenders had been rolled previously to accommodate wider tires and looked OK but not great. I had them widened to accept a 225/50/15 on an 8" Fuchs. Front fenders are unmodified except for having the side-marker light holes welded up. The body work and paint was performed by Tony Martens at Rallye Coachworks in the Denver area and is amazing. This was a car I was planning on keeping for a long time so I did my best to do it "right".

So my uncertainty is where does this fall price-wise and what are the best places to advertise it? I suppose it could be taken back to stock if someone was hellbent on doing that but it's arguably a lot more fun in its current trim.

Thoughts?

Cool car. I don't know what it is worth, but will be watching when you list it. This kind of car interests me personally.

I have seen this car, he did a great job on the repair, and will make someone a very nice driver.

Matt, Thanks. Yes it is a pretty cool car. It's listed on the PCA website classifieds but I don't know if that's going to reach the right crowd or not. I have it listed there for $70k.

I would also market it at 914world.com - The fastest growing online 914 community!, good 914 site with lots of traffic.
