What do you make of this '80 SC?

I would rather have an unmolested car, but since this place is only a few miles away I'm very tempted to go take a peek. However I wanted to hear a thought from you experts who can spot a blemish from a thousand feet what you think about this car based on the information shown. Also what do you think that creaking noise in the video is.

Looks like a pretty good car to me. Other than the euro rear lenses, stainless exhaust, rear reflector, and the steering wheel, I don't see anything on the car that is not original. Still has the compliance sticker in the door jamb. Hard to tell how much of the car is original paint. Has some rock chips on the mirrors and looks like there might be some on the fender. Hood looks fairly chip free though. May have had a partial repaint? Look carefully at the rear of the car too. It's unusual to see a replaced rear reflector unless the car was hit in the rear. The rattle appears very close to the camera. I wouldn't be surprised if it's related to the camera itself. Sounds like a plastic rattle.

Cool video, makes me nostalgic for my sc. Reminds me how much faster things happen in the turbo.

I think the clicking is the camera or mount rattling against the rear window.

Apart from the silly Mangus Walkman sticker it looks very nice. I cant see anything that indicates that it was rear ended. Some just replaced the reflector to the newer version - check it proberly out though.

Good luck.

If you buy it replace the plastic fuel lines.

Glad to see you took my advice and are still using EBay to find cars. Looks like a solid driver sc. Go see it in person and try to close a deal of EBay.

That's exactly right! The fact that I got zero replies from the last two private sellers I PMd/emailed also contributed.
