You know that aircooled 911 cars are really loud right?

You could get a project for that or a new turbo if you can sell it for the same price as the one on e-bay

In reality, with where the price off the Air Cool are going, I doubt that you would find a candidate for an exchange.

High end audiophile are rarer then 911 owners, so the odds are not great.

You best bet (as you probably know) would be to sell the equipment to someone in that niche market and use the money to get the Porsche.

Bonne Chance

JJ

Holy Smokes!!!! I just looked up your equipment online!!!! Holy Smokes!!! I tunes would sound great on that stuff!!!! I think $88,000 audio equipment will not be worth that much in 5 years but a $88,000 Porsche could be worth a lot more.

I would check the 356 forum. All of those cars are worth a lot of money compared to only some of the 911's here are worth a lot of money. The average 356 cars are now at $60,000. You will find millionaires over there. I'm not kidding. Also, it is kind of sad, when I was a pup many of us had very nice audio equipment. A nice turntable with separates and good loud speakers with a quality reel to reel. Times have changed. Most of us now have a Yamaha or Pioneer home theater system from Costco and we are OK with that. All the cool big audio stores went away. I know there are still people who love and need the high end stuff.

Long-time audiophile here - tubes and vinyl. Occasionally still write reviews. No Porsches or parts to trade though. Good luck.

I would say the chances of successfully negotiating a Porsche/audio gear trade to be about one in a million. Maybe worse.
