82' SC coupe, Worth it $25k?

This is a 1982 911SC, has 93k miles, Mostly original. One weird thing is the Matte black wrap. First time I've seen an aircooled porsche get wrapped. Seems a bit fishy. Original color is wine red metallic.

Can you guys help me? Worth it? seems like the body is straight, though I have no idea about the paint condition. Will have to check it.

If the mechanical aspects of the car was well maintained, Do you think I should go for that car? (after a ppi).

Need another pair of eyes! and thanks!

Body and paint work can be far more costly than mechanical. I would be extremely wary of anything that obscures the condition of the paint or worse the condition of the sheet metal.

Body is more costly than mechanical? I thought it was the other way around. Or is it a relative subject.

Rockers are crushed in a couple of spots -- probably from improper jacking. Often results in ruined A/C and oil lines.

Why no engine or underbody shots? Never a good sign.

And only a damn fool would try to sell a Porsche 911 with a matte wrap. The dealer clearly doesn't know what he is doing, and/or is hiding some serious paintwork issues.

Garnet with brown is a strange combination.

If mechanically sound, and the pain is fine under the matte, then the ask could be a bargain. But the odds of the first two conditions being met is likely slim.
