Is it my imagination, or is this car on 17" wheels?

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/870220-1979-930-turbo-sale.html

Aside from the asking price being on the high side for this car, and the fantasy of $200k valuation on this car with any sort of repaint, especially to a non-original color, what do you think of the wheels?

Looks like 16s to me.

Not sure what "Indiana Red" is, but India Red is exactly the same formulation as Guards Red.

OK.

I thought Guards and India were different shades? Or are they two different names for the exact same color?

be sorry you asked

Despite what was suggested before you, there's 3 differing shades of India / Guards that I know of.

Did my mirrors / bumpers. Looks great!... now 8-)

I thought the full name was India Guardsman Red, there was a Indiana Red Metallic that was used on the 924, if that was original PTS color it would criminal to repaint in guards red. I think $100k is a fair ask for the car not withstanding the color change which is unfortunate.

Paint code 027 is India Red. 027 is also Guards Red after some time in the early 80s, IIRC. Many discussions about this across multiple forums.

The 930 listed in the for sale was originally painted a 924 color as a PTS- too bad it was not repainted original color
