I don't even visit the Springs! Bunch of bible thumping crazies down there.I'm surprised they don't have anti-abortion billboards with fetuses on them. Focus on The Family is just a step less crazy than Westboro.

And I am WAY too old to be a hipster. Hipsters are young enough to have come from my loins. My flannel dates from Pearl Jam's days and has been in my closet for over 25 years. I didn't go buy it and some fake non-prescription glasses at a thrift store. Hell, my beard is older than most of these ironically complacement brats.

I was reading recently that PBR has raised their prices on beer because its popular with the hipster crowd. If you had any doubts that these kids have no taste, that should clear it up for you. Who drinks that swill?

It's not actually hipsters buying these cars, the media just doesn't know the difference between different sub-sects of millennials and calls them all hipsters. A real hipster wouldn't try hard enough to have enough money to be able to afford a Porsche. The only thing Porsche they will ever own is a pair of 1980s Porsche Design sunglasses they found at the Salvation Army.

Ok, I've had my fun. Back to work... :D

So awesome. So there is a pretty legendary bar not far from me called Joe Josts. Its been there for maybe I don't know, almost 90 years. Very blue collar type of place historically, mostly port workers etc would head there. The back has shuffleboard and a few things and on weekends kids would come along with the parents. Anyway, they have served PBR forever, since 70's I think. "coldest in town" with a display and all... PBR raised their prices a few years back and they kicked them out on their ass so they could keep customer prices the same. it was quite the uproar, but the hipsters stole their beer from them! At least that's what you hear from the locals at Joe Josts.

I heard there may be some hipsters driving porsches hidden in matts beard!?!?! True?

Oh, and Denver does get Tornados, totally off topic. I learned what its like to be in the mens room with 50 other people at Hertz. That was interesting yesterday.

Yes they do. I've been out at HPR where the closed the track because of 80+mph winds. A few years back they delayed our Chump race 3 hours while waiting for things to pass.

It's part of why when we went house shopping in 2013 I refused to even look at things east of I25. From Denver all the way to the Wyoming border if you get east of the highway you are at risk.

Careful now! I've been drinking "Old Milwaukee" for over 40 years!

mooty 08-14-2015 04:02 AM

allez, I remember.
bring it Matt. we can climb up centennialhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1439553761.jpg

Matt Monson 08-14-2015 04:08 AM

I used to love climbing Centennial.

Christian, I haven't bought a bike in 20 years. I only brought my Mtn bikes with me when I moved here 15 years ago. I bought a "vintage" bike because there was no way I could justify spending several grand on a nice modern road bike unless I was going to start getting in some real miles. This time capsule will let me get out and "earn" the right to buy something newer.

mooty 08-14-2015 04:13 AM

used to do centennial in 11/25 with 53/39
now I need a motor

Matt Monson 08-14-2015 04:34 AM

I'm a cheater. I only used to ride it on my Mtn bike. Used to drop roadies like they were standing still.

gt3racerich 08-14-2015 04:50 AM
