Dealer Speak
Typical dealer speak. Esp in a hot air cooled market:
"This highly desirable Euro specification car has more HP, a more aggressive stance and ride height and generally drove much better than it’s US counterpart". Mark Starr on an '84 930 he listed. Saw this posted in one of the recent ads by this NY dealer. He flooded the FS market with a bunch of cars listed all at once. Made me chuckle. Up until recently, the "Euro" cars were always less desirable than their US counterparts for reasons like parts availability, and DOT/EPA, etc... Still wish there would be a separation of cars sold by dealers and those sold by enthusiasts. Works well on watch forums. Dream on I guess. |

I was tempted to report them. Isn't the rule 3 ads on page 1?

Huh. Learn something new every day. Looks like I've been buying the wrong cars all these years. Haha

And parts for them were never hard to come by. That was just the dealerships trying to make the cars look bad because grey market cars were hurting their sales numbers.

Just to add some perspective to what on offer. That "Outlaw" car was a friends, and he sold it for low - mid twenties. What the dealer has done is paint the rear decklid, and add some very cheap looking fabric to the seats.
IMO the car looked way better as it was. |

Because we have a lot more of them and they cost a lot less over here? And there's no such thing as a bad 911, just better ones.
