Has anybody seen this 914 in person?
It looks very nice. I am preparing to dive in to the 914 pool. Any help much appreciated.

Probably the reason that car is still for sale is that it has been modified. Normally, somebody who would pay 17,500 for a 914 is going to want an original car or a car with a 911 engine. The '73 2.0 is a desirable model and I will admit that this particular car is very pretty. In fact, one of the better looking 914's in my opinion. But it has had numerous mods done to it and what I would certainly think is an overall color change. I personally like modifed 914's but as the cars move into collector status, I think most peope are looking for originality.

I did the same exterior mods to my '73 2.0. You can't make an ugly duckling into a swan, but you can make a fairly good looking duck.
