I guess this guy didn't realize that for $65k, you could get a pretty nice real 993.

65K and ruined a 73 ............

Nothing wrong with that car that another $15K wouldn't fix...

I'm learning this truth first hand.

Wow, yet another guy that followed the "sheep in wolf's clothing" concept in an automobile build.

Not when you can buy the car for $40k. $55k in a solid 73 hot rod is chump change these days. Ask Emptyo how much he is spending on his 3.6 swap. I bet you it's easily $15k if not pushing $20k.

More work to bring back right than the 993 body and the take off parts would be harder to sell, but $30k for a 3.6 swap with Wevo built 915 in it. For a paint and body specialist who wants a targa this one is worth saving.

Though there might be that oddball collector who likes the provenance of that blight as it sits and wants to put it into a collection. To me it's just another '73 911T dolled up like a hooker on Saturday night.

That is almost poetry, and worth commemorating.

This car is a sign on the road to perdition. Preserved as a warning to others….
