Good looking '73 911 - (slightly modified)
I wonder if at some point he realized he just might have gotten in too deep on this one?
1973 PORSCHE 911 WITH 993 TURBO BODY ALL CUSTOM MADE Update: Just noticed the awesome NAPA inside door handles and window cranks. Definitely needed those photos to help the sale....... |
I'd be interested in the engine and trans.

What kind of schmuck drops $65k to Super Fly shag-out a salvage title car?
Honestly…. |
I guess this guy didn't realize that for $65k, you could get a pretty nice real 993.
|
65K and ruined a 73 ............
|
Nothing wrong with that car that another $15K wouldn't fix...

Wow, yet another guy that followed the "sheep in wolf's clothing" concept in an automobile build.

I've stopped and looked at the listing on this one several times:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/875570-1973-911-targa-sale.html More work to bring back right than the 993 body and the take off parts would be harder to sell, but $30k for a 3.6 swap with Wevo built 915 in it. For a paint and body specialist who wants a targa this one is worth saving. Though there might be that oddball collector who likes the provenance of that blight as it sits and wants to put it into a collection. To me it's just another '73 911T dolled up like a hooker on Saturday night. |

This car is a sign on the road to perdition. Preserved as a warning to others…. |
