Early 911..

As I was getting ready to head down to the club for my weekly cigar, a guy stops and ask me if I'm might be interested in this.

I had the impression garage queens were not your type.

I'll buy it.

That's a pissy thing to say.

And it doesn't look Qtipper owned to me.

They aren't that is why I'm letting the Turbo "S" & 914-6 go.

He gave me his number, I haven't seen the car yet, but I'm sure it is more than I'm interested in payer, personally, I would rather have Lar's 911R clone, that car could enjoyed.

It didn't help that a soft window targa recently SOLD for crazy money. But if it is a matching number 67"S" then WOW

Plus I'm currently looking to get rid of cars & stuff, finish up a few "keepers" not looking to ad to the stable.

The safety door handles let us know it is a 68 and the narrow deco trim means it is not a S.

Here is a full 911T vin plate, the S on that location does not mean a S car

Yup, true to form indeed. Someone else would have dropped everything and pounced on it.

For me, I can't see getting rid of my Carrera coupe or SC targa for a garage queen type car. The two are just too much fun to drive and they drive quite differently !

Why is there 'garage queen' talk? The pictured car is parked in a driveway with rain on it.
Is is obviously a used and driven car that someone has loved and tinkered with. Blacked out grill and 911 emblem, hup caps toyed with, this is the stuff we can see in the pictures. Some ones toy
Not a garage queen.
Am I missing some inside joke?

I thought the same thing. Looks like a used '68 normal to me. Nothing more, nothing less.

Yep, a '68 911 Normal. Nothing to turn your nose up at though.

Absolutely not. A solid 68 normal is a good little SWB driver.

Interesting car. I know several people looking for one. Bonus points if it's an aluminum case engine.
