Getting a PPI - anyone ever use Autoappriaser.com??

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has ever used AutoAppraiser.com for getting a PPI done and what their experience was?
I ask because someone looking to purchase my car is planning to use them to do the PPI on my car.
Just trying to make sure it is a Legit company before I let them at my car. Their website is pretty primitive with no contact info, so sort of odd. Appreciate anyone's experience with them, either good or bad.
Thanks,
Jeff

PPI or appraisal?

When I sell it's a PPI by the shop of my or mutual choice. I wouldn't let anyone near my cars unless they're known and there are certain shops I won't step foot in.

Hmm, maybe more of an appraisal. The guy interested in my car said this is who he typically uses, and they will come to my house. He pays the cost. They want the car up on a lift or jacks and they take lots of pictures, etc, and also do need to drive it (with me in the car). They say the whole process will take 2-3 hours. I just want to ensure they are legit company and not some scammers.

I wouldn't let someone like that to my home. Dint know a thing about them but you arent coming to check out my home and all I own.

I had this type of thing happen when I was selling a muscle car. Guy came to the house and spent a few hours checking it out. I drew the line at the driving part. No effing way. I would barely let one of you guys drive my car, much less some stranger.

Certainly you should be able to google this company or the guy or something. The guy who came to my house was a 'consultant', hired by the nationwide PPI type company. If the potential buyer can't supply you with some back round info on this inspection, I'd be very careful. After all, he found them somehow, right? You should be able to look them up also, at least with his help.

We do tend to be a little paranoid on this site but checking them out isn't being paranoid.
