Opening price too high

I am not sure why this car is not sold. I am no fan of tan interior on red, but the car generally looks ok.

The ad is not a great one admittedly.
Oh yeah it's not my car and I have no interest in it or from it.

Agree, looks interesting. If it were within 200 miles of NY I'd be looking at it closely.

Reserve auction probably deters buyers from screwing around with the auction. The sports seats are a bonus. Buyer could sell the seats and get perfect std seats and pocket the difference.

Looks like a really good car at 25-30k but probably auction format not working for folks.

Yep all told it may well have had a front end wreck. Engine surround also indicates shoddy work. I would ask to see photos of the underside and inner fenders before even bothering to physically look at it. Look at things like if the washer bottle is in the right place.

As for the seats it is not easy to find the correct sport seats for an 83, in the correct color to match this interior you may be looking at 2k. The one in this car are the incorrect ones from an 85 or later car and worth much less.

I don't see this car as a bargain at 30k.

I think you guys are nit picking. Seats are wrong? Headlight wrong?

It is being sold as a driver quality car not a concourse quality car and the listing states that a ppi is welcomed. A quality PPI should ensure that there was no front end or rear end wreck.

I have no affiliation and have never even been to Alabama but this looks like a well represented car to me and I would consider it if I were in the market.

Aren't you a dealer? Oftentimes a dealer doesn't care about the finer details that us end users look closely at.

No, definitely not a dealer, I just bought my first 911/993 in June and went through a lot of pain for a long time looking for a good one.
This one definitely would have made my list of cars to check out especially since it is rare that an ebay lister invites a ppi.

They are Carrera pieces. Not a rare upgrade if the lower valance was damaged.

2 years ago that would have been a high teens car. But it's not 2 years ago.

With the head light, front valance and fogs not right requires one to give a good look up front. If the tub was not damaged it should pose no problems, the rest bolts on and easily replaced.
