"it seems to run and drive fine", what more do you want?

pors1968 09-17-2015 06:14 PM

With a 3.6 engine should be fun .Nice color

bbturbo 09-18-2015 04:20 AM

Sure its overpriced, but heck it will make someone happy.

Matt Monson 09-18-2015 06:12 AM

I don't like SCs...

2ndTARGA 09-18-2015 07:07 AM

Donated for tax deduction? Got to be an interesting story there.......

Love the part about not talking to anyone but Glenn - a pocket listing no doubt.

Also nice to know it has the popular "inside trunk release." I hate getting out of the car to do that like on other cars.

What is the opposite of a 'sleeper'?

matt930s 09-18-2015 09:22 AM

Sheep in wolfs clothing?????

Not a "sleeper" a "Sheeper"!!!!

LOL perfect

There used to be a couple companies in LA that did cars like that back in the 90s. Usually they'd make a "cab" out of a 75-77 Targa as that was the cheapest donor chassis.

Just for fun I picked up a 993 Speedster look car built on a 77 chassis back in 2004. It was cool looking, but really not fun to drive.

Nice Techweenie....I bet 99.9% had no idea it wasn't legit.

Another SHEEPER:

this one is ugly. A 68 registed 72 turbo look with a 4 cylinder with the wrong Wheel .the 993 look was far better.

Man, that is too funny!

I think that everyone who owns a "Turbo look" model should put a "Sheeper" emblem, written in "turbo" script, on the engine lid! :D

And speaking of sheepish Porsches, where the eff is Christian? I haven't seen anything from the Crazy Dane in quite some time. Hopefully he didn't crash his 912 at its top speed of 26.3mph and is recovering in a non-wifi-equipped hospital!

The Seinfeld car was originally a Cab. Only one was made as Speedster from new.

I was semi-serious. I'm just not a fan of CIS. For a few thousand more, if I were shopping, I would buy a 3.2 Carrera with nicer fuel injection.

If this car had a 3.6 swap in it, it would be quite interesting. But a 993 body kit still powered by the 3.0l. No interest.

Matt Monson 09-20-2015 06:19 AM

This on is more interesting. Too bad it is in Hawaii.
