Value of engine

I am filling out my Hagerty info and need to enter the value of my engine since its custom.

Its a 3.0l row with webers. Built and tuned by Dick Elverude back in 2000 and never used for it's intended project. I have his dyno sheet showing 279hp.

Any idea what cost to replace would be?

$20-25k including core.

I'm not filling out a Hagerty Insurance form but am trying to determine what the value of my 3.0L is.

Has 177k on it, had a top end redone at 136k, I stopped driving it because Cylinder #2 is 85% leak-down (bad valve guide)...all other cylinders are under 5%.

I'm trying to determine if I'm going to sell it as-is or just use it as a core value toward a rebuild.

Thanks Matt, now I'm insured and can take it for a spin :)
