Hey guys looking at this car right now.

it has 126k original miles on it. the owner is a 72 year old man that has owned the car for quite some time, always garaged and maintained by a respected porsche mechanic in town. he was a friend of my dads and I'm gonna have the chance to look it over tomorrow.

Turbo valve covers have been done
newer struts
interior is in great condition
rust bubbling on the lower passenger fender, did not see rust anywhere else.

what do you think a price would be? I was thinking $23-25k in todays market is fair assuming Carrera tensioners have been done along any other maintenance. Seller says the car is in great condition and runs flawlessly. I'm going to check the car out tomorrow morning, just wanted to get an idea with everyone else first.

here are some photos

This, although $23k for a coupe in this market buys you quite a rough car. If the car's otherwise clean, $23k to $25k could be a very good deal.
What's up with the wheels though?

absolutely on the head studs and rust.

i peeked over the car earlier yesterday and didn't see any rust in the floorboards just on the passenger side fender. ill look around more on the inner fenders, rockers and the front pan as well.

no Fuchs that come with the car, these appear to be off a 964?

overall paint was a 10 footer. lots of little scratches on the mirrors and rear bumper. but overall a great looking car that looks pretty original.

ill let you gents know how this goes!

Cheers

It would indeed be a good deal if it all checks out.

Find any at that price lately?
With a top end rebuild, you'd be at $30k+/-. Yes, it's a good price. The lower the better, assuming everything else checks out.
Teens would be a bargain!
