Is there a market for bent Fuchs? 16x9

I've got a bent 16x9 and 16x8 951 p/n from a 911. Both wheels got damaged with flat spots on the outboard lips.

In the past wheels like this have been hose hangers but I'm wondering if there is a market for the repair shops, given todays Fuchs pricing. Anyone able to give me some feedback?

people that make 3 piece rims will want them if the centers are real nice

Understand what you are thinking but the three piece wheels use exclusively 16x6 donor wheels. It's the only wheel with the correct profile to be used for this. I've built about 30 of them. However, I suspect that some of the weld ups (not bolted) that are being done may use 16x9 etc.

Well, you can buy Fuchs new now, so it is the date codes that determine the prices. Any pix of the damage??

No date code in the usual spot Byron but rest assured they are 87-89 when the turbos got this size.

I don't know how it works but with all the cutting and welding they have been doing to make wheels wider i don't see why they couldn't fix it? but because of how it was bent that could be a pretty messing fix.

OUCH!!!! What did you hit????
I think, based on the size of the bend, those are beyond repairing..
Anything I can trade you so I can ad to my wall of shame??

ouch. garage art?

Wheel you show certainly has a date code. It is the 41st week of '86

Thanks Todd, I completely overlooked that. Used to seeing it stamped at the hub.
