1987 911 Roller Non-Sunroof

What's an 87 911 non-sunroof coupe with 88k miles worth? All complete, just missing engine and trans. Recent respray, interior is good, clean title? Looking around and seeing complete examples being sold from $28k to asking prices of $45k. What is a good price for this example? Thanks.

I will get the ball rolling. Low miles And non-sunroof a plus, does it have Fuchs ? Quality of re-spray and color? Color shape of interior? Be able to come up with a better number with this info. Tim

With ok respray and low miles and Fuchs, sounds like someone just needs a transmission and motor to complete a pretty nice car. I would say 14-17 K. Tim

I'm curious how a lower mile example got separated from its engine and transmission? Tim

I agree with this. Unless the pics tell a different story somehow.

Pictures will help.
Leather interior?
Dash straight?
No rust or wrecks?
What color blues for exterior and interior?
I would think 15K and up from there depending on options, condition and color.

Backdate, duck tail, 3.8 engine and drive the crap out of it.

12-15k. And it's begging to become a racecar.

I've got a rebuilt 3.6L with LWFW mated to the matching G50 for the buyer of this car. The engine and transmission can be delivered in the car that they now inhabit. I'll even throw the car in for free.

I think you're getting good guidance here. $12-15K. There aren't a lot of 3.2/G50 combos floating around any more, so the drivetrain will be in the $12-15K range as well. And then there's all the little stuff. Odometer reading wont mean a whole lot - mileage on the drivetrain will mean more.

Im looking for one too...

I think a 87-89 , G50, 3.8, backdate, ducktail...It just does about everything, or everything I need to do

I would love to get one for 12k less driveline, but the owner should just install engine and trans and sell for a lot more than the money invested...

Just my 2cents...

Thanks for all the responses everyone. I ended up making a deal with the seller for $13k. We should be able to complete the transaction this week. I have a 3.6 in the garage that I have been saving for an early build and just need the G50.

That sounds like a deal to me, given the price "run-up" in the last few years.

Having no sunroof (if it was a U.S. car) probably meant it was a special order. Do you have any history on it, is it a non-wrecked tub, clear title? Order a COA? Color combo?

Good luck, it sounds like a nice project.

Car is a no sunroof factory car. Completely unmolested car, all panels never been apart, no accidents, clean title, no COA. Color combo is Venetian blue/blue interior.
Interior is very very nice, seats have some splitting on butt area. The story on the engine trans is apparently the first owner was in divorce proceedings, wife wanted the car and was going to get it then he pulled motor and trans and sold them so he ended up with the roller. A year later he sold it to the person selling it to me. My seller is getting duplicate title but it's pretty much sold to me. I will post pics once I get it.

No affiliation, but he's had it for a while and it is already at a pretty cheap asking price. Be sure to get the 993 LSD with it. The G50 one is junk.
