Beware 964 to 993 converted salvage car
 

There was a sheeper on craigslist yesterday too bad it's no longer active otherwise I'd link it. 1991 964 salvage title was resurrected as a bastardized 993 turbo using nothing but crap fiberglass. Body work was really bad, I mean bad. Motor was tired, leaked everywhere. Interior was pretty nice. Seller was asking $16,000 but said he would take $13,500. I don't see any value to the car except motor and trans, but even that needs to be rebuilt (160k miles) as it was leaking everywhere. Seats was a GT3 so has some value there but not $13,500. I didn't take pics but use your imagination on a really bad fiberglass conversion. Posting to give a heads up in case you're expecting a nice steel conversion.
