25th Anniversary Edition continually resisted on Ebay, seen it?
Let's try this again, accidentally posted this in another thread. Opps.
I have, it has been re-listed on eBay probably 10 times. always the same price, always 0 bids..... I would love to see him get north of $45 for it for my own sake. It does have some good pictures of a clean Anniversary interior though...which I saved for my own collection. |
Quite the hype-fest. I lost count of how many times they used 'rare'. Nice car though.

Shouldn't listing the car 10 times on eBay with the same $50K start biding price and not getting a single hit should say something about expectations?
|
So is it a 964 or is it before the change? I cant tell.
|
$50,000 opening bid price. Mine also has 60,000 miles in very good condition. I estimate it in the high $30's. Maybe low $40's. If someone's interested north of $50k, pm me. I'm all ears.

Listing is inconsistent on mileage - 59k in one spot, 61k in two others...makes me wonder about the rest of it....beautiful car though!

It's LuxSport. /thread

Probubly overpaid to flip it and now is having his lunch....the grey interior does nothing for the car.

Part of the fun the past couple years has been getting daily "an item you were watching has been relisted" emails from eBay. Some cars just keep going and going and going...

I know of 2 VERY CLEAN 50-60k mile 89 NONE Anniversary cars that sold for over $45k. They were very clean inside/outside/underneath. I wish it added more, but at the moment being an Anniversary Edition only adds ~$2k-$3k to th price. I think, with time, it will add more. EVeryone still says the 993 is the last real 911.....I don't buy that. This car was the last one built on the old assembly line (same as ever 911 1965-these 1989's). The C2 & C4 964's were the start of the new line. These cars are also the last airfield/torsion-bar cars. To me those things make these the last original 911's. The rest of the ones that follow all drive very different. Just my 2 cents, and I am biased of course, and you paid nothing for it. :)

The seller is one of the worst sellers in the business. This forum along with rennlist and several others are littered with threads documenting how people got screwed, cars were misrepresented, out right lies were told and on and on.
Look at their eBay add. Its a cut and paste of copy they put on every Porsche they list. The only thing they do is change the model 911 and year. We all know they bought this car from another dealer not the original owner. They have had that car since Dec 2014. They cant sell it. Its priced high and my guess is the car is a turd they're stuck with. I would be extremely careful buying a car from that outfit. The stories about them are atrocious. If you're absolutely dying to buy that car, you better go see it for yourself even before a PPI. |
