1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe – REVISIT | German Cars For Sale Blog

This is a nice looking car. Its been on the "for sale" circuit for more then 6 months.

The original seller had a lot of stories about why it needed so much work when it was listed in the early spring. This seller has chosen not to share those stories or the repaint.

It looks like a really nice car in a good color. No one appears to want it as a keeper or driver.

looks to me to be over priced by 15-20k. If he holds price until 2020 it may be worth it then. Tim

Its a great looking car. I just think that the price is over the top given all it needed to get it to that shape with so few miles.

IIRC It sat for a long time under a tarp or something and needed a full repaint. There was some other reason it needed all the mechanical work. It looks like its been done right and I like the color but I dont see that price.

You're right ... sometime down the road maybe

I am watching this car too. It sold in April on ebay for $46,100 now it has 2,000 more miles and is $69k. I'm a serious buyer who is grinding his teeth trying to ignore that markup and agree that mid $50's is the market for this car. I also asked about why such a nice car needed so much work with low miles and did not receive a reply but it was easy enough to find the last owner's description online. Anyway now I have to come to terms with the 30% markup due to the Canadian dollar...unless someone knows of a perfect 87 to 89 Coupe here in Canada! (Sorry for the whine, everyone)

Strange it ended up back on in May...perhaps the April bidder didn't complete the transaction.

It was listed right here on PP at $55k. He sold it for low 50s in early June.
I remember because it was one of the most stunning 911's I've ever seen

Found it!
