Singer Targa

Purchased recently by a CEO of Mac. Suppose to be the only Singer Targa made.. Or maybe the 1st one ever made. Not sure. Regardless, very cool. Wish my friend would have taken photos of the interior as well.

Since Singer has basically improved every mechanical aspect of the 911 while trying to keep to its early original lines and beauty, I wonder what they did to improve the targa top and it's fitment.
I have had numerous targas, and I like them. But I have never had one that was water tight and actually quiet...
On a separate note, the car looks striking, but would be much more striking in a different color

Yeah, I'm not a fan of Targas, and I'm not a fan of gold paint. But I'd own and drive this one, no complaints. I'd like it in Ossi blue.

The car was in the paddock at Rennsport. The detail is amazing.

That may be true, but it looks gold in the photos. Moss green would also be good. Even Ice Green. BTW, all the colors I mention are also factory colors.

anyone know how much Singer changed the body lines ?

I think the headlights are at a different angle , and the body panels are carbon fiber

But it seems the windshield angle is stock.

They do a great job , I am glad some people have the big $$$ to buy them so we can
dream !

Has anyone made replica Singer style front turn signal / driving lights ?

Mac as an Apple. And do not know if the guy's name was Tim Cook. Just some top boss in the company.

As much as I like the Singer, I think the option you present would be more fun.

Same here - they look like something taken from a 1940s school bus or bread truck.

When I order mine I'm going to tell them to skip the bubble wrap looking, goofy engine cove panel, too!
