I am the new owner of papa smurf. I love the interior. You just can't account for some peoples bad taste.
I think that's "all the money" for that car and maybe then some. I'll post a f/u in BAT.

If I were you I would jump on the sport seats in that Targa at Partsheaven that was just posted. What are the odds of that rare blue colored interior coming available again.

Yes, sir Stevesc_us. A guy named Spencer from Parts Heaven quoted me that price this morning. I kindly declined and thanked him for his time.

Sport seats in a rare color? That price isn't out of the park.

That seems like crazy pricing for those sport seats. I would imagine you could source a good set of core seats in that MY in the $1,500 - $2k range and have them reupholstered in blue leather, unless of course you couldn't find a match for the exact blue.

I would have paid it if I could. The guy told me he would come down to 7000, but still I could not justify... Glad to hear you got them, Rick! If you ever consider selling the original seats feel free to drop me a line. Mine are worse for wear.

Sorry I don't have those seats... I was trying to imply that the price of the seats might be affected by your demand

I'll give you $2500 for the pair in your 74.

And triple it on eBay 10 days of auction later.

The seats at Parts Heaven are wrong for the car, and they would need to be recovered too.
You are better off buying the right sport seats and having them restored to new, along with the rest of the interior. Good luck and enjoy...

Thanks for the tip. I'm guessing Arrow blue interior. Any way to find out for sure that it came that way?
Right now the plan is to get the car checked out and spiffed up for a road trip. Then I'm gonna drive the **** out of it.
