Hood alignment on a 81 SC

Happy Thanksgiving!

Does the hood look correctly aligned to you in this picture? Is it me, or it looks tighter on the passenger side and looser on the driver's?

Thanks. Unfortunately that car is a 2hr flight away so I was hoping to figure out if it looks bad or not, before I fly down...

It could be a camera angle distortion ... Notice ... the driver fender.. as you look at the area behind the head light and the area from the crown of the fender to the trunk opening perimeter ...it looks greater than the passenger side.... The trunk gap lines look good otherwise... Your concern is the first 3" of the driver side, gap.... That may be a visual anomaly

I live about 20 minutes away from the place selling it and can take some more photos if needed. I think they are asking a bit much. $38,000 for a Targa with close to 100,000 miles. At least it was repainted in the original color and the interior looks clean.
Just hope the head studs are ok.

Place was closed for the holidays so I could not take it for a test drive. Sorry for the glare, sun was in the wrong spot:-(

Paint looked great in person, all the window seals were nice and soft, looks like all were replaced except for the rear glass seal. Tires are new, Targa top is in great shape, no cracks or warps on the dash. Seats may have been recovered and look very nice.

Thanks a lot for doing this. Looks like a very interesting car. Does anything look off with the body panels?

No problem.

All the body panels looked fine. I did not see any damage or rust issues from the outside.

Just crazy how much clean Targas are going for now.

They forgot clamps on CV boots. Minor issue...

That looks really clean. And interesting colour too. Not surprised at the ask.
