This car has been bumped twice already and still no price posted?

What's the point of establishing rules and designating a moderator to enforce them?

I don't know why guys get bent out of shape over this. If you're interested in the car send the owner a pm. I'm not going to let it raise my blood pressure..........

I'm concerned more that some guys can't be bothered to remove their car from the garage to take decent pictures.

So you can separate the time wasters from the dreamers ......on both ends.

Agree with blau911 follow forum rules or go home

Mick_D 11-25-2015 06:47 AM

Rules are to state the price in the post. They usually let it slide if it's linked to a live auction like eBay. IF you think you don't have to follow the rules, you're wrong.

I never understood not listing a price. Maybe he is lonely and just wants to talk to people.

JJ 911SC 11-25-2015 08:06 AM

I did reported it this morning around 05:00

Look like its been removed.

I never said that people didn't need to follow the rules. I just said I don't know why people get so bent out of shape over it. Seems like it really ruins some people's day. I shrug and move on. Not worth getting physically upset about. Just seems silly.

I don't think anyone was "physically upset", just making a point. Pretty simple rule. The other thing some do is delete price after sale, which is also against the rules. Some are just rebels and above following rules. The threat of moderator deleting thread, is idle at best. Tim

Nobody is getting bent out of shape. If rules exist, then folks should follow them. Period. Otherwise, why have rules in the first place? If you don't like the rules that exist, you don't have to list your car/parts for sale here - there are plenty of other places to sell your stuff. You don't get to just ignore the rules you don't like. I'm not sure why you have a problem with that.

pnut_lee 11-25-2015 11:55 AM

No one here is getting bent out of shape I agree. I tried finding a post in the cars for sale forum that someone posted a number of weeks back that was completely ridiculous and in poor taste calling the moderators out for not doing their job. It was a complete temper tantrum and that guy based on the tone in his message I envisioned getting physically upset.......

Blau911's post reminded me of it and that is where my response was directed. Wish I could find that post, but it was probably deleted.

Rules are rules. We've all broken rules in our life, but ideally they should be followed. No argument there from me. The site has "hall monitors" to deal with it, and though not perfect they are trying. I just don't think we need hall monitors for the hall monitors. At some point it becomes absurd over something as silly as someone not posting a price.

Some don't even bother to read the rules

I agree that most of the "rule breaking" is folks who don't bother to read the terms.

Eric, I'm about to break one of the forum rules and lob an inappropriate personal attack your way - is that okay?!?! :)

brianvb 11-25-2015 05:54 PM

Speeding is apparently an illegal rule and I'll admit I do it every day in my favourite Porsche. Damn rules !!
