1985 M491 911 Coupe
Hello,

That thing has been on eBay for at least 6 months. Auction always ends early with bids in the 40k's.

I purchased the car directly from the dealer and collected this weekend. I'm very happy with the car - the paint is beautiful. Given the mileage (92k) and a few stone chips, it's not collector quality; but I enjoy driving these cars so I was never after a garage queen. But it looks stunning following a good detail. Mechanically it is spot on; with redline in LA servicing the since 31k miles. I believe this is coupe #24 on the M491 registry.

Thank you for all the complements on the car. The paint shows really well after a good detail. I've been enjoying some Sunday drives to local shows / coffee meets here in nor California. The car drives flawlessly.
I see another M491 targa listed locally in Monterey for $80k. I feel comfortable that this will prove a good investment over the next few years. They are harder to come by than 930's. |
