Is this some sort of record?

I spoke with the eBay seller. Strange that he still considers the car a one owner even though he admitted to buying it yesterday. He said dealers aren't considered owners. Claimed to no nothing of Pelican Parts Or "whatever that is?". It will be interesting to see what the car goes for.

Blatantly not showing the cars expensive-to-fix flaws such as the driver side front suspension point ripping out of the chassis means someone will be in for a big, unfortunate surprise.

VIN 9114103248 for reference

Technically speaking, that's true. Dealer's aren't considered an owner, at least here.

I kind of agree. A Colorado title has room for 3 dealer assignments without getting a new title.

Owners on the front, dealer realignments on the back.

PP ad says "the front left suspension mount pulled out. doesn't look rusted and looks like it could be welded back in place."

That doesn't sound expensive.

Here he is folks. Captured from the video on his eBay listing.

billh1963 12-12-2015 01:12 PM

Wow...so many omissions in the ebay ad compared to the short Pelican ad it's scary.

matt930s 12-12-2015 01:24 PM

No doubt. Drola seems like an upstanding guy and has put some pretty good deals up here in the past.

Neither seller could bother to clean up the leaves out of the engine compartment?

Wonder how close it got to the $24K asking price? Amazing what mid years were going for just a few years ago compared to now.

I dont like the look of the drivers side floor board.

kc911s 12-12-2015 11:27 PM

Talk about quick flip. The new seller Prob fixed any and all issues before listing it on ebay.

Private listing= I like to bid on my own cars. Notice how the bid immediately went to just past the maximum initial investment. It's all gravy money from here not bad for a days work.

Yep....

Notice in the video he glosses or skips over EVERYTHING listed in the original ad

No picture of engine starting

Open front hood and only shows fuel tank. Leaves rest of trunk sheetmetal covered

In the pictures he shows the rusty floors. HOWEVER, he says the floors are solid in the video.

Very misleading

Matt Monson 12-13-2015 08:29 AM

A used car salesman being misleading? Unheard of.

miketori 12-13-2015 02:23 PM

No mention that it has a $79.00 dash cap on it. Looks like its the first 911 trunk he ever opened. Someone is going to get taken to the cleaners on that one. Hopefully no Pelican.

The dash cap is the final straw indeed.
